237 couples unite in marriage in the 21st Kasalang Bayan

The City Government of Santa Rosa, through the City Civil Registry Office, gave couples a chance to legalize their union through a mass weddinh held last July 28, 2022 at the City of Santa Rosa Multi-Purpose Complex.
After a year of holding off this annual event du3the pandemic, the Kasalang Bayan was resumed for couples who wish to get married this year.
Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas, as the Local Chief Executive, officiated and led the marriage ceremony. Vice Mayor Arnold Arcillas, city councilors, and city department heads also graced the event.
The Kasalang Bayan aims to unite couples in mind, heart, and soul which is in support of Mayor Arlene's mission to strengthen and develop the Santa Rosa Family.
"There are 4 Rs in marriage: Romance, Responsibility, Respect, and Remittance. You should be able to accept all of these without any conditions because that is marriage; to remit and accept each other to one another." Mayor Arlene reminded the newlyweds to keep their love and long-lasting relationship growing and fulfill their vows in the course of their marriage.
The Kasalang Bayan is conducted twice a year – one during Valentine's Day, February 14, and one during the month of July.
